Currently enrolled Focus Class or Micro-School children in the Grades will spend our last class of the session together to culminate our units on graphing, astronomy, and navigation, for an evening of stargazing, tracking the constellations, story-telling, art, and playing games. This special class is free of cost to all of our grades students including our Specialty Class extensions (and parents for evening only) who RSVP to Meryn@wildoakeducation.org by Tuesday, May 21, 2019.
Students will arrive Wednesday, May 29, at 6:30pm (parents are welcome to participate in our evening class). Those staying for the evening only will depart by 10:00pm. Students spending the night will be picked up Thursday, May 30, at 10:30am. Wednesday Science class will be held as usual 9:00am - 1:30pm. There will be no Humanities or Art & Journaling classes on Thursday, May 30, as we will be doing our work Wednesday night.
Children are to arrive having already had their evening meal. They should pack a healthy peanut-free snack and no-cook breakfast, along with their sleeping bag, warm layers, beanie, change of clothes, and toiletries.
Please note the overnight portion is solely for children ages 8 and up, unless camping with their parent or adult caregiver. Parents wishing to camp may do so for a fee. Please contact Kate at firstname.lastname@example.org to make arrangements.
We look forward to sharing this special night with your children!
With love and starlight,
Teachers Kris, Jessica, Loel, and Meryn
